Beyond its aesthetic appeal, the porcelain tile boasts exceptional durability, making it an ideal choice for high-traffic areas. Its low-maintenance nature simplifies cleaning and upkeep, ensuring the bar remains pristine with minimal effort.Moreover, the same tile was creatively utilized to clad the recess behind the bar, effectively transforming an awkward space created by the bay window above into functional shelving. This cohesive design approach not only enhances the visual continuity of the space but also maximizes its utility, demonstrating a thoughtful integration of form and function.

The bar was further enhanced with the addition of oak timber fins, meticulously applied to soften its appearance, and add depth to the main face. This same timber was thoughtfully extended to the shelving behind, ensuring a cohesive design language throughout.

To accentuate the warmth of the timber and add a touch of ambient lighting, discreet LED channels were ingeniously integrated below the projection and beneath the shelving. These illuminated the timber fins, not only making them visually prominent but also contributing to the overall atmosphere with a subtle yet decorative glow.

In terms of functionality, the bar’s working areas, glass shelving, sink, and ice bucket were all meticulously fabricated in stainless steel, ensuring durability and a sleek, contemporary aesthetic. A custom lid was crafted for the ice bucket, ensuring a seamless finish on the countertop, and further elevating the bar’s refined appearance.

To frame the bar as the central focal point, custom panelling was designed and expertly affixed to the surrounding walls, adding additional depth and visual interest to the space. This thoughtful detailing ensures that the bar commands attention while seamlessly integrating with its environment.
