Hamish is a chartered British Architect who studies at Oxford Brookes (BA) and University of Westminster (MA).
Hamish started his architectural career working for a variety of award winning architectural practices including both Squire and Partners, and the Manser Practice working to deliver projects at a variety of scales all over London.
Venturing into residential architecture, Hamish found his passion while working at Tubbs Davis, where he specialised in crafting bespoke homes for discerning private clients.
His dedication to creating unique living spaces led him to co-found No.3 Projects, a Design and Build company. Here, Hamish not only delved into the design aspect but also immersed himself in the construction and delivery of projects, collaborating closely with his partner to cover every aspect of the construction process.
Having a fundamental experience and understanding in both the architectural and contractual realms. This unique blend equips him with a comprehensive understanding of the entire building process – from the initial conception of ideas to the completion of projects spanning a diverse rages of both scales, budgets and scopes/
Outside the architectural realm, Hamish finds joy in the simple pleasures of life. Whether spending quality time with his partner, son, and their beloved Chilli, or catching waves down on the coast in his camper.
Karina is a chartered British Architect who studied at Westminster University (BA) and then the Royal College of Art (MA).
Karina’s journey in architecture began with Fourpoint Architects, where she contributed her skills to high-end residential projects in the dynamic city of London. Her career took a turn towards retail and commercial architecture as she joined the award-winning Brinkworth Design, leaving her mark on upscale commercial spaces in central London.
Having completed her training, Karina took on a pivotal role within the design team at No.3 Projects, where her expertise in both architecture and interior design blossomed. This experience not only allowed her to navigate projects from planning to construction but also fuelled her passion for interior design. Karina thrives on collaborating closely with clients, understanding their unique styles and aesthetics to bring their visions to life.
In her journey with HMD, Karina has not only earned her stripes as a Chartered British Architect but has also been at the forefront of innovative projects. She is currently spearheading the design for Micro-homes, exploring concepts that aim to provide more affordable housing options in the bustling capital.
Beyond the confines of the office, Karina reveals her artistic side. With a keen eye for capturing moments, she is an avid photographer. When not behind the lens, Karina immerses herself in her studio, where she translates her creativity onto large canvases using oil-based paints. Her love for painting allows her to express herself in a medium that mirrors the bold and dynamic nature of her architectural pursuits.
Karina, with her diverse skills and unwavering passion, is a testament to the fusion of creativity and practicality, making her an invaluable member of the HMD team.
Chilli has been a part of HMD since its conception.
While Chilli might not boast formal qualifications on paper, her contribution to the team is immeasurable. As the unofficial morale officer, Chilli diligently works to infuse positivity into every corner of the workplace, ensuring a cheerful and focused atmosphere throughout the day.
Whether basking in the sun or snuggled up by the radiator, Chilli’s hobbies include the pursuit of squirrels, afternoon snacks, and, of course, relishing in the joy of scratches.
In the bustling world of HMD, Chilli is a constant reminder that sometimes, the best qualifications come in the form of wagging tails and boundless enthusiasm.
